Tesla Model 3
This is the car that made electric driving normal, and it remains the benchmark for one practical reason: the Supercharger network. You plan a trip and the navigation tells you where to stop and for how long, with no third-party apps and no surprises. Real-world consumption is among the lowest in the class, making it the cheapest EV to run outright. The interior is deliberately spartan: no instrument cluster ahead of the wheel, everything on the central screen — you either love it or hate it, so try it first. It is not the most comfortable car over bumps (the ride is firm) and the materials do not match a German rival at the same price. But for anyone focused on cost per mile who wants an EV that simply works, it is still the most rational choice.
