It is the cheapest car in our range and it is built for one job: the city. At 4.23 metres it slots into parking spaces a mid-size SUV would not attempt, and the Twin Motor version does 0-100 in 3.6 seconds — sports-car pace in a car that looks harmless. The interior is the most interesting part: no leather, but recycled materials (denim, window blinds, fishing nets) handled with enough taste to read as a style choice rather than a compromise. The Harman Kardon soundbar runs beneath the windscreen instead of door speakers, freeing up door storage. The limit is rear space: a third passenger on the back seat is cramped and the boot is modest. This is not a large-family car; it is a sharp second car, or a first car for city dwellers.
